Children's Registration Ecuadorian Cultural Dance 2026-2027

Children's Dance Class Mission & Summary

• Cross-Generational Representation: The central mission of the children's initiative is to foster deep cultural ties across generations. By connecting children—particularly second- and third-generation Ecuadorian-Americans—with the traditional rhythms, history, and steps of their heritage, the program ensures traditions are actively lived rather than lost.

• Blending Classical & Traditional Techniques: The program uniquely bridges the gap between different styles. Children learn authentic Ecuadorian folkloric movements alongside the discipline of classical dance forms (such as ballet, modern, jazz and more), developing both technical agility and cultural pride.

• Elevating Next-Generation Leadership: Beyond mastering specific regional steps, the curriculum is built to empower children, cultivate creative expression, and elevate diverse community representation in major arts spaces—culminating in large-scale public showcases like the Dance Parade NYC and Ecuador Illumina Times Square.
